Konstantinos Chatzaras is the founder of konstantinos.studio, an architecture and design practice based in New York and Athens. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Harvard University and has over twelve years of experience in architecture, urban design, and real estate development strategy.
Konstantinos began his career in New York City at SHoP Architects, where he managed and contributed to award-winning projects with complex programming and prestigious stakeholders. His clients have included Google, the United States Department of State, Dubai Holding, Citadel, Vornado Realty Trust, and RED, among others.
His portfolio spans luxury residential, cultural, and large-scale commercial developments across the United States and Europe. Notable projects include the YouTube Headquarters in San Bruno, the U.S. Consulate in Milan, several high-end hospitality destinations in Dubai, and a range of residential and mixed-use towers.
Konstantinos has a particular interest in architecture as narrative—drawing from mythology, history, and the sublime qualities of the Greek and American landscape to create spaces of emotional and sensory depth. His work balances poetic concept with rigorous execution, often exploring themes of light, memory, and retreat.
